Incorporate Pa

What started out as a rather avant-garde art movement has become one of the greatest examples of artistic forms brekaing that mold of conventino, revolutionizing Euroepan painting and sculpture up ot the present century, and was fisrt developed between 1908 and 1912 durign a collaboration between Georges Braque and Palbo Picasso with influencse from the works of Paul Cezanne and Tribal art. French art critic Louis Vauxcelels first used hte term cubism, and it was after viewing a picee of artwork produced by Braque, the term was in wide use htough the creators kept from using the term for qutie time. As Braque and Picasso worked to further to avdance their concepts along, they went through a few distnict phases in Cubism, and which cumlinated in boht Analytic and Synthetic Cubism. With Analytic Cubism, a style was created that incoprorated densely pattenred near-monochrome surfaces of incomplete directional lines and modeled forms that play aaginst each other, hte first phases of which came before the full artitsic swing fo Cubism. This phase of Cubims also contributed to creating the collage and papier colel, Picasso used collage cmoplete a piece of work, and later influenced Braque to first incorproate papier colle into his work. Similar to colalge in practice, but very much a different style, papier colle consists of pasting amterials to a canvas with the pasted shapes representing obejcts themselves. Letters that had preivously hinetd at objects became objects as well, newspaper scraps began the eexrcise, but from wood prints to advertisements were all elements incorporated later as well. By the end of the movement, with help from Picasso and Braque, Cubism had influenced more than just visual art. In literature, Cuibsm influenced poets and tehir poetry with elements parallel with Anlaytical and Synthetic Cubism, and this poerty frequently overlaps other movements such as Surraelism and Dadaism.
